Meet Our Warehouse Girls

Claire Holliday

Posted on April 26 2016

Today, we wanted to introduce you to our {FABULOUS, FUN, AND HARDWORKING} warehouse girls! As 'warehouse girls,' we do a lot of the behind the scenes stuff so we wanted to take this opportunity and introduce ourselves!  So, without further ado, lets get to it!

M E E T The Girls <3

Courtney is our web manager at the Warehouse. She is the glue of the entire online operation! Court has been a member of the Page 6 team since 2008, originally working in the Rock Hill store, then moving to Baxter, and finally, the Warehouse with the launch of our website in 2012 where she now resides full time. Court originally went to school for Interior Design. Although she loved every minute of it, her passion for fashion is definitely any undeniable gift and she's happy to share it with all of us!

Occupation: Webmanager

Describe your life in one word.
Blessed. I am surrounded by so many wonderful people that I love and that love me. I have a God that loves me unconditionally. Everything else is either a cherry on top, a stepping stone to better things or a way for God to hone my character.

What's your favorite thing about living in the South and why?
Do I have to pick just one? There's not much I don't love, but i'd have to say, hospitality. Southerners are friendly and know how to make you feel welcome. I've truly seen that even more in South Carolina. I'm originally from Louisville, KY -which don't get me wrong, Kentuckians are friendly, but South Carolinians take it to a whole other level!

Name your guilty pleasure.
Iced Chai Tea Lattes from Starbucks. Put it in an IV and i'd be one happy camper.

What is your favorite thing to eat?
Hi, my name is Courtney, and i'm a pizza-holic.

What is your biggest fashion pet peeve?
Showing your bum in leggings. I highly believe (fashion) leggings are meant as an accent to wear with longer tops and sweaters. They cannot stand alone as a pant and they are not at all flattering (unless you have a rock hard gluteus maximus). Even I would not dare show my size 0 bum in leggings. And if you are going to wear them with the bottom uncovered, for goodness sakes, please ask whoever you live with to check and make sure you can't see through them.

Are you more of a dog person or a cat person?
Dog! Don't tell my boyfriend (even though I'm pretty sure he already knows), but I would start my own doggie shelter at my home if he'd let me one day!

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
The American West. I've never been out to those parts, but I've read and research a lot about that region and have grown an affinity for the culture and history.

What was/is your best subject in school?
Art & English were always two subjects where I consistently excelled in. I ended up pursuing art in college, though.

If you could do one thing differently in your life, what would it be and why?
As a younger version of me, I wish I would have cared a whole lot less of what people thought of me. As I get older and will be reaching my 30th year on this earth, I care less and less. I'm still a work in progress, but I strive to gauge my life on what God thinks of me and live my life to please him.

Name your favorite thing about working for Page 6 Boutique.
I thrive when I am able to express my creativity. Also, with working behind the scenes here, every day is different. We are always in and out working on different projects and such. Sitting in a cubical doing the same thing every day would drive me up the wall!

Hannah is the photographer at our Warehouse. On a daily basis, she can be found shooting pictures of flat lays, Kathryn, Breanna, and just about every single product that comes in through our doors. Hannah joined the Page 6 team in 2012 working at our flagship store in Baxter Village. In 2015, she switched over to working at the Warehouse full time.

Occupation: Photographer

Describe your life in one word.

Adventurous. I’m all about exploring, seeing new things and meeting new people! Give me an RV & a map, and i’ll be on my way.

What's your favorite thing about living in the South and why?

The hot Summers and the cold Winters. It's always nice having the best of both worlds.

Name your guilty pleasure.

Long hot baths (when I actually have time.) And yes, I get just as dramatic as the movies.. What's a bath without bubbles, candle, & music?

What is your favorite thing to eat?

CHEESE. Cheeseburgers, cheese fries, cheez-its, macaroni & cheese, cheese quesidilla, string cheese, velveeta cheese, grilled cheese, cheese queso, cheese pizza, cheese puffs, cheese rollups from Taco Bell, cheesecake... You get the point, right?

What is your biggest fashion pet peeve?

Ever heard you shouldn't wear black and brown together? Throw that saying out the window. I believe it's all how you wear it. If you feel good in it, then do it. I double dare you!

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

Europe without a doubt. I would love to experience the languages, the different cultures, landscapes, lifestyles, and all the history.

What was/is your best subject in school?

History class for sure! It was almost like story time for me. I loved learning about our past, how wars got started, the inventions, the good and the bad. The history of our world has always been interesting to me.

If you could do one thing differently in your life, what would it be and why?

There is absolutely nothing I would do differently. Sure, I've had my share of problems and mistakes, but those became learning experiences for me, to make me who I am today!

Name your favorite thing about working for Page 6 Boutique.
My learning experience & the friendships. In 2012, I started working at Page 6 Boutique at our Fort Mill location as a sales associate where I made friendships with the employees, customers, and even my boss! In 2015, I was offered a position at our warehouse and at the time we were also in need of a photographer. So I did my own research, figured this complicating camera out, and now I'm the one behind the camera!

Kathryn may already be a familiar face to many. When she's not spending her time cracking jokes with Hannah or filling the room with her bubbly personality, she's in front of the camera modeling for us! She has been working at the Page 6 Warehouse since July of 2015.
Describe your life in one word.
I try to keep my life a big ball of happiness. It's hard at times but I try not to take life too seriously. Who wants to be around a grumpy person all the time? Not this girl! So I try to bring happiness with me wherever I go. Plus I always go to Pinterest to look up inspirational quotes to realize how lucky and blessed my life really is.

What's your favorite thing about living in the South and why?
I wouldn't want to grow up in any other place than the South. I love the whole atmosphere of it, the traditions, the food, the hospitality, the history, everything!

Name your guilty pleasure.
Jet puff is my guilty pleasure and if y'all don't know what that is you need to get in your car and go straight to the grocery store right now! It's literally melted marshmallow in a jar! And if you're feeling really healthy you can dip your fruit in it! YUMMM!!!

What is your favorite thing to eat?
I'm going to switch this question up, because honestly I eat pretty much everything EXCEPT...celery. Celery is just disgusting, it gets stuck in your teeth and it taste like dirty grass.

What is your biggest fashion pet peeve?
Girls you know what I'm talking about, when your pants are too tight and they don't fit in the front. I'm not going to say the actual word for it, but make sure if they are too tight in the front that your shirt at least covers it.

Are you more of a dog person or a cat person?
Just because people call me "Kat" does not mean I like the animal. To be honest cats freak me out, and its mainly because of their extremely freaky tails. But I do love dogs!

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
My dream in life is to travel the world and the first place I would go is Greece. Mainly because I want to magically meet the love of my life like Lena off of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

What was/is your best subject in school?
If you put numbers in front of me you're going to have to give me a minute to figure it out. That being said, I love writing. I love how you are free to express your ideas and opinions on any subject. That is why I am majoring is print mass communications at Winthrop University.

If you could do one thing differently in your life, what would it be and why?
Like Courtney answered previously, I wish I didn't care as much as I do. I tend to care about what others think of me too much and I need to realize at the end of the day if I know who I am and what I stand for that's the only thing that matters.

Name your favorite thing about working for Page 6 Boutique.
I've only worked at the warehouse and I love the atmosphere here. I feel like it is my home and I look forward coming to work. It's a place where you can just be yourself, plus who doesn't like trying on cute clothes all day?

Bree Parker
Breezy started working at Page 6 late 2015. She mainly works at the Rock Hill Store and Solarium but she recently began splitting her time between modeling and helping customers.
Occupation: Student / Model

Describe your life in one word.

Blessed. I am so grateful for the life and opportunities I have been given! I work for an amazing company, and I am currently in school and on my way to get a degree in nursing! I am honestly living the life I also wanted and I am truly blessed.

What's your favorite thing about living in the South and why?

My favorite thing about living in the South is the weather! I love the sunshine and summer! However, I also love the occasional snow flurries we sometimes get if we are lucky!

Name your guilty pleasure.

My most guilty pleasure is definitely shopping, and working at Page 6 just helps out with that. ;)

What is your favorite thing to eat?

There is nothing I love more than mac and cheese! I have to cut myself off every time it is made or else I will eat my weight in it.

What is your biggest fashion pet peeve?

My biggest fashion pet peeve would have to be when people wear rubber flip flops with EVERYTHING!!! Just because they come in every color, doesn't mean you should buy them in every color.

Are you more of a dog person or a cat person?

I am a dog person all the way! My dream dog and the dog I will have one day is a Goldendoodle! (Literally the cutest dog I've ever laid eyes on!!)

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

I would honestly take a trip anywhere that is tropical and has blue water! I love the beach and the sunshine, so anywhere warm and sunny is for me!

What was/is your best subject in school?

Science! Especially Anatomy and Physiology, which probably explains my nursing major.

If you could do one thing differently in your life, what would it be and why?

I love my life the way it is now, and I don't think I would want to change anything about it! If something were to change, I wouldn't be the person I am today.

Name your favorite thing about working for Page 6 Boutique.

My absolute most favorite thing about working at Page 6 is definitely the people I get to work with! They are more than just my co-workers. Work seems less like work when you get to do it with those you love and get to call your friends!

Claire is the newest member of the Warehouse Girls. She started working at Page 6 in 2016 and since then, she has spent time at both store locations. However, Claire spends most of her time at the Warehouse writing blogs, products descriptions, and helping our with updating social media accounts.

Occupation: Student / Blogger

Describe your life in one word.

Wonderful. I feel very fortunate and blessed to be able to do what I love on a daily basis. I think life is all about finding pleasure in the small things and taking advantage of every opportunity! If you do what makes YOU truly happy, there's no way you can ever be disappointed with yourself.

What's your favorite thing about living in the South and why?

Personally, my favorite thing about living in the South would most definitely have to be weather. When it's sunny, there's no possible way I can be in a bad mood! I love being able to roll down my windows and blare my country music--I think that is one of the ultimate stress relievers. And there's nothing like long summer nights in the South!

Name your guilty pleasure.

It's a tie between cookies or brownies. Occasionally, I love to treat myself to one...(or two) of this irresistible treats.

What is your favorite thing to eat?

There's nothing in the world like a cheeseburger, fries, and cold Coke!

What is your biggest fashion pet peeve?

Wearing flip flops year round! Yes, this is the South. No, that does not mean its appropriate to wear your Rainbows or sandals every single day. This one is a big, cringeworthy 'no-no' for me!

Are you more of a dog person or a cat person?

Definitely a dog person. I've got four furry babies at home. I love how excited my dogs are to see me when I come home after a long day!

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

I'm a huge fan of the beach and I spend most of my South Carolina beach time soaking up the sun and relaxing in the ocean, so if I could travel anywhere in the world, I would definitely want to go to Anguilla or the British Virgin Islands. I have actually never been out of the country so hopefully one of these days I'll get to experience this one day soon!

What was/is your best subject in school?

History has always been my best subject in school! I really enjoy learning about the past and I definitely think there's a lot of learn from it.

If you could do one thing differently in your life, what would it be and why?

If I could do one thing differently, it would also be to buy that piece of clothing I loved but I walked away from! I can't even count how many times I've instantly regretted not getting something and thought about it for the next week!

Name your favorite thing about working for Page 6 Boutique.

My favorite thing about working for Page 6 would definitely be how rewarding this job has been thus far! I love being able to assist with promoting the store online through blogs and actually getting to help out sometimes on the sales floor! I also walking around town and seeing someone wearing a Page 6 item...it's the little things in life for sure!

I hope you enjoyed meeting about our Warehouse Girls! As always, shoppage6.com is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at 803.980.4171!

Much Love,

The Warehouse Girls :)
