Happy Thursday girlies!!

This is it ladies. It is the week of Father’s Day.

For some of you, you are totally cool, calm, and collected with your sights set on that perfect gift.

For others (like me) you are quietly panicking, running through your mind what that perfect last minute gift would be for the Dad who has given you everything.

If you are anything like me, when it comes to Father’s Day there is an entire other kind of clueless when it comes to picking out the perfect gift for Dad.

Luckily for you, I have taken all of the guesswork out of that perfect last minute Father’s Day gift AND found some great ideas for girls on a budget!

This Father’s Day, I personally love the idea of giving the gift of an experience. While gifts are always nice to have and are a physical reminder of your love for someone, there is nothing like the gift of presence and making memories.

Here are some fun things to get out and do with your old man that will give you both awesome memories to last forever.

Hiking:

Depending on how adventurous you are feeling, we love the idea of just getting outside!  What could be better than an afternoon hike? Depending on where you live, there are usually free trails (like a state park) somewhere around you! If not, a longer car ride to a trail always makes for some good quality time with Dad! Jam out to all of your favorite songs on the radio and just enjoy each other’s company! Hiking is always a fun go-to because

  1. t’s free (usually)
  2. It’s an awesome way to get in some exercise
  3. What could be more fun than you and your old man struggling up a mountain together?

It would always be a good idea to pack some kind of food with you, so what could be better than a mountain top picnic?

Once you finally get to the top of the mountain, you’ll probably be exhausted and need some refueling! So just hang out, eat some lunch and take in all of the nature around you! In your backpack pack sandwiches, dried fruit, crackers, beef jerky, protein bars and W A T E R. LOTS of water. These are all nutrient rich and filling foods that will give you energy and refreshed. Make sure to drink a lot of water before you hike, during, and after to avoid dehydration!

That being said, get out, and enjoy an afternoon away from all of the craziness of life and spend the day in company with your dad, away from all of the wifi and cell service towers!

Baseball Game

June means one thing- baseball season!

One thing that is pretty universal among fathers is the love for sports

Luckily for you, it is baseball season!

Baseball game tickets are an awesome idea for a father's day gift for many reasons!

1. It's baseball. Who doesn't love baseball?!

2. Depending on where you live, there is usually a baseball team pretty close by! Whether it is a Major League team, a Minor League, or even just a College/ University team there are tons of different teams to go support!

Luckily for the girls local to Fort Mill and Rock Hill we have the Charlotte Knights team just 20 minutes away!

3. One big perk is that tickets for a college or minor league team aren't usually super expensive!

Baseball games are always a fun experience for everyone because the atmosphere is so fun! The announcers are always super entertaining, there is always a food court, and it is a relaxed atmosphere to talk while still enjoying the game! Also, sometimes if you go on the right night you can catch an awesome fireworks show

So get out there, go eat a hotdog, and spend a night at an all American baseball game just hanging out with your old man!

I hope that this guide has been helpful and inspired you to get out and spend time with your Dad this Father's Day! Remember, you only have one of them!

{Also- if you need any cute outfits or accessories for your father's day plans, you know where to find us ;) }

Until next time,

Daisy
